Announcing 32 Poems’ Nominations for the 2014 Pushcart Prize

Pushcart PrizeEach fall Bill Henderson and the Pushcart Press ask literary journals, small presses, and Pushcart’s own contributing editors to nominate the best work of the year for their annual prize anthology. We’ve published dozens of great poems in 2013 and we champion all of them, but for the Pushcart Prize we have had to narrow the field to six poems we know we’ll be reading and rereading for many years to come. Join us in congratulating the following authors for their truly excellent work.

From 32 Poems 11.1:
Sarah Crossland for “The Tin Man Full of Bees
Rebecca Morgan Frank for “The Art of Reading
Caki Wilkinson for  “Smoke and Mirrors

And from 32 Poems 11.2 (forthcoming this month):
Bobby C. Rogers for “Primitive Baptist”
Steve Scafidi for “Questions I Asked Death, Questions Death Asked Me”
Rhett Iseman Trull for “Aly’s in love,”
